I write to tell you how much I enjoy the Working Waterfront/Inter Island News. My husband and I are members of the Island Institute, so we get your publication all year long. As we are long-time summer people in Friendship, and care deeply about the lobster industry, your newspaper keeps us in touch with the most important issues concerning it. I also write to express my particular enjoyment of Sandra Oliver’s column — I especially liked the “Summer Cooking” piece in the August issue. A little upfront discussion of some summer people’s insensitivity is a good thing. Why is [Oliver’s] column not in every issue? I look forward to reading it so much that I’d like to see it included in every issue…
