To the editor:

Wonderful read!! Having never been able to convince my husband to live on an island, I live vicariously through the publications of the Island Institute. When I read the adventures of Rusty Warren, I try to imagine how I would handle such and such.

Today I read Mid-Life, Mid-Winter, Mid-Ocean [WWF March 2004] by Karen Roberts Jackson and laughed out loud at every paragraph! My life, as does Karen’s, seems to increase in VELOCITY every year and I too hate to lose at Scrabble. Oh – and aren’t girls’ clubs wonderful! It is such fun to laugh at ourselves!

Is Karen new to Working Waterfront? If so, please bring more! If not, how have I missed her?
