On Islesboro, the Beacon Project’s 2005 calendars – the second annual offering from the group – feature a collection of images captured by Islesboro photographers. Calendars are available for sale at the town office and other local establishments. The cost is $12.95, with all proceeds to benefit the Beacon Project, a nonprofit organization that is building and managing an adult family care home capable of facilitating six residents at a time, with high-quality staff care available around the clock.
